In a statement to MAP, Ghali emphasized that this High Royal Initiative represents a milestone that enshrines the Sovereign’s enlightened Vision in favor of social justice and national reconciliation, highlighting values of tolerance, forgiveness, and compassion.
The academic noted that the Pardon granted to cannabis cultivators under judicial prosecution aligns with the goals of the project to develop legal cannabis use, aimed at improving the living standards of the local population.
It is worth noting that on the occasion of the anniversary of the King and the People's Revolution, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, graciously granted His Pardon to 4,831 people convicted, prosecuted, or wanted in cases related to cannabis cultivation who met the required conditions to benefit from the Pardon.
