Morocco Falls 2-1 to Ukraine in Olympic Soccer

Saint-Etienne (France) - Morocco’s soccer olympic team was defeated 2-1 by Ukraine on Saturday at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Etienne in the 2nd day of Group B of the Men's Olympic Football Tournament (Paris-2024).

Dmytro Kryskiv drew first blood for Ukraine in the 22nd minute before Soufiane Rahimi scored a penalty to equalize in the 64th minute.

However, in a dramatic ending, Ukraine scored the 2nd goal in the last minute of addition time (90’+8) through Krasnopir.

Placed in Group B with Argentina, the Atlas Cubs will play their last first round game against Irak on Thursday.
