Amputee AFCON 2024: Morocco Advances to Final

Rabat - The national amputee football team trashed Nigeria 6-2, Saturday in Cairo, to advance to the final of the African Amputee Football Nations Cup 2024, held on May 18-27 in Egypt.

In the final game, which will be held Monday, Morocco will face the winner of the second semi-final between Algeria and Ghana.

The national amputee football team also clinched its ticket for the forthcoming Amputee Football World Cup, scheduled for 2026.

During the last World Cup, organized from September 30 to October 9, 2022 in Istanbul, the Moroccan team ranked fifth.
