In the general ranking, El Amrany finished first (27h 06:27), ahead of Raji (29h 09:04) and British Gemma Game (32h 18:58).
The 38th Marathon des Sables was held on April 12-22, under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.
Participants covered 252 km spread over 6 stages, the longest timed distance ever offered in the history of the Marathon. Nearly 900 athletes from 58 countries participated at this edition.
