Upon His arrival at the Mosque, His Majesty the King reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard that made the honors.
After the Eid prayer, the Imam delivered a sermon in which he emphasized that believers have bathed, throughout the holy month of Ramadan, in an atmosphere of piety, spirituality, divine blessing and recollection, adding that the day of Eid Al-Fitr is the moment of reward and the joy of obedience to God, the Almighty.
Worship has secrets, objectives and goals that the faithful believers must take care to achieve, said the Imam, noting that the prayer that God has ordained is not just words spoken and gestures performed without meditation or reverence, but rather an opportunity for every faithful to remember the greatness of the Almighty.
He added that Ramadan, a month of piety and devotion, is capable of changing the course of our lives, strengthening our faith and reminding us of God's benevolence.
