Speaking at the opening of the Council of Government’s meeting, Akhannouch said that "it will be possible from December 2 for people meeting the sole eligibility condition and wishing to benefit from direct social assistance, to register on this digital platform to receive the amount of assistance from the end of December".
In parallel with the legislative register, the government has been working to put in place the practical and budgetary framework for this program, which is part of the implementation of the government's program, he noted.
In this respect, the head of government affirmed that the various government departments concerned continue their work to "implement the various measures and procedures necessary to guarantee the success of this historic project and the payment of direct financial aid to citizens meeting the eligibility conditions before the end of the year, in accordance with the agenda set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI".
Akhannouch recalled that less than two months after His Majesty the King's speech, in which he called for the social assistance program to be extended to include new categories, "we are in the process of finalizing the legal arsenal relating to the direct social assistance program and the creation of the National Social Assistance Agency", with the aim of implementing the Royal Vision relating to the building of the Social State.
In this respect, the head of government welcomed the positive interaction between the two Houses of Parliament, majority and opposition, to speed up the adoption of laws and decrees relating to social and strategic projects.
