Berkane - The Renaissance of Berkane defeated Sekhukhune United of South Africa 2-0 on Sunday at the Berkane municipal stadium, in the first matchday of Group D of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

RS Berkane took the lead at home thanks to goals by Adil Tahif (14th) and Youssef El Fahli (86th).

For its part, Stade Malien got a win in the other match of this group after beating the Diables noirs of Brazzaville (3-1).
