One of radio's most influential voices, the deceased had held the post of director of the national radio station between 1974 and 1986. He was also communications advisor to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
A key witness to the history of modern Morocco, the late Bendaddouch covered major events that marked the Kingdom, including the Madrid negotiations ending the Spanish occupation of the Moroccan Sahara, and the 1961 Casablanca conference that led to the creation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU).
