The mixed national team won the silver medal after losing the final to Brazil by two sets to 0.

It reached the final at the expense of Mexico in the quarters (2-0) and Côte d'Ivoire in the semis (2-0).

The women's national taekwondo team also made a name for itself at these championships, having been finished runners-up in the world team event on Tuesday.
