Morocco’s WAC Loses AFL Final to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns
Pretoria - Morocco's Wydad de Casablanca (WAC) missed out on lifting the African Football League (AFL) trophy following a 0-2 defeat (3-2 in aggregate), on Sunday at the Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria, over South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns in the final’s second leg.
During the first leg, held last Sunday at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, the Reds had bested the South Africans 2-1.
