The number of people vaccinated for the first time reached 24,924,310, those who received two doses 23,426,224, while 6,887,222 people received three injections of the vaccine and 61,218 received the booster dose, the ministry pointed out in its weekly note on the epidemiological situation (November 4-10).

The new weekly tally brings the overall number of contaminations since the first case on March 2, 2020 to 1,277,538, with a weekly positivity rate of 5.4%.

The new cases were recorded in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (33), Grand Casablanca-Settat (21), Fès-Meknès (11), Marrakech-Safi (02), Souss-Massa (03), Draâ-Tafilalet (05), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (01) and Béni Mellal-Khénifra (01).

The overall number of deaths remains at 16,297 (overall case fatality 1.3%), with zero case recorded last week.

Active cases number 89, with no severe or critical case in the last week.
