Remittances Reached MAD 86.89 Bln at End-September

Rabat - Remittances from Moroccan Expatriates totaled nearly 86.89 billion dirhams (MAD) at the end of September 2023, compared with MAD 82.52 billion a year earlier, according to the Office des Changes (Foreign Exchange Office).

This represents an increase of 5.4% compared with September 2022, according to the Office, which has just published its monthly foreign trade indicators for September.

The Office also reported that the balance of trade in services showed a surplus of 31.1% (+MAD 24.48 billion) to MAD 103.32 billion for the first nine months of the year, compared with MAD 78.84 billion a year earlier.
