Direct Social Assistance, ‘Very Ambitious” Program to Promote Solidarity (PSOE Member)

Madrid - Morocco, a country which "has made enormous economic and social progress for many years", adds a milestone to this process with the launch of a "very ambitious program” aimed at establishing direct social assistance for the most vulnerable populations, Juan Segovia, member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), said on Friday.

''This is very good news which places Morocco in the club of countries with the best growth that redistribute wealth, take care of the most underprivileged categories and ensure that this growth has a positive impact on the population'', Segovia told MAP.
''As a Spaniard and a European, I can only rejoice that our neighboring and friendly country is taking an important step forward to promote the spirit of equality and solidarity among its inhabitants,'' underlined Segovia, former socialist regional deputy and Secretary General of the Socialist Rally of Fuencarral.
According to him, ''it is very promising to see Morocco developing strongly and standing out on the basis of social policies''.
