Carried out under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, the new initiatives launched as part of the Direct Social Assistance Program demonstrate the democratic and institutional momentums experienced by the Kingdom, he underlined.

The fight against precariousness and economic support for social categories reflects the firm will of Morocco, engaged in the debate on sustainable economic and social development in the Mediterranean, he noted.

For his part, political analyst Marco Baratto told MAP that "Morocco has always aimed to create a social State system capable of improving the living standards of the population."
