Weather Alert: Strong Winds, Heavy Rainfall Expected in Multiple Provinces

Rabat - Strong gusts of wind with dust storms and heavy, sometimes thunderous showers are expected on Monday in several provinces of the Kingdom, as announced by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

As such, strong gusts of wind with local dust storms (75 to 90 kmph - 46 to 56 mph) are expected on Monday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the provinces of Figuig, Taourirt, Jerada, Boulmane, and Midelt, as indicated by the DGM in a meteorological alert bulletin with an orange-level vigilance.

Furthermore, heavy showers, sometimes accompanied by thunder (20-40 mm - 0.8 to 1.6 inches), are expected on Monday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the provinces of Boulemane, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Tinghir, Zagora, Errachidia, and Midelt, as stated by the DGM.
