El Mehdi Fakori, Hugo Mazen Trometter and Soufiane Dahmane, members of the men's national team, are participating in the 33rd men's championship for the Eisenhower Trophy on October 18-21, the FRMG notes, recalling that the Moroccan men's team is the 2023 Arab Champion and the 2022 African Champion.
For its part, the national women's team, made up of Sofia Cherif Essakali, Malak Bouraeda and Rim Imni, will take part in the 30th women’s championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy on October 25 - 28, the same source pointed out.
First held in 1958, the World Amateur Team Championships includes 72 holes of stroke play competition. Each country fields two or three players with the two lowest scores counting per round.
