"We are very excited that Thailand will be the next host country for the meetings, which, like Morocco, has great capacity to host international events", said Georgieva at a press briefing held to present the report of the 47th International Monetary Fund and Financial Committee (IMFC).

On this occasion, she stressed that these meetings are an opportunity to raise awareness of the need to put in place resilience-enhancing policies capable of strengthening countries' ability to cope with shocks, while continuing to make progress towards long-term goals.
