Throughout this process, the Kingdom has laid the foundations for development in various areas and achieved gains that have allowed it to strengthen its resilience in the face of various local and international crises and continue to build in stability and openness, he added during the launch of the book "Morocco in search of stronger and more inclusive growth" as part of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The changes that Morocco has undergone since the end of the last century are the result of a comprehensive Royal project aimed at modernizing the country on all fronts, he said, adding that it is a project based on socio-economic development coupled with the consolidation of the democratic process.
Furthermore, he continued that Morocco has also succeeded in establishing the foundations of a unique development model that combines voluntarism and realism, noting that this model is an illustration of a clear vision based on three pillars: the consolidation of the democratic process and institutional development in Morocco, the development of strategies that encompass both the sectoral aspects, infrastructure, structural projects, as well as the diversification and modernization of economic activities.
The third pillar revolves around the human element, through a vision of human and sustainable development, including social aspects, skill enhancement, and the promotion of the spirit of initiative, creativity, and wealth creation, he pointed out.
Lekjaa also emphasized the revolutionary project of universal social protection initiated by HM King Mohammed VI.
