The announcement by the Sovereign to Moroccans of the news of the organization of the World Cup 2030, alongside Spain and Portugal, was a historic moment greeted with joy and happiness by the entire Moroccan people, said Lekjaa in a statement to the press following the audience that HM the King granted him on Thursday at the Royal Palace in Rabat.

"Today, we are called upon to redouble our efforts and forge ahead to achieve the best World Cup that history has ever known", as HM the King affirmed in His Message on the occasion of the presentation in Kigali (Rwanda) to the Sovereign of the CAF Award for Excellence for the year 2022.

"We are all determined to translate the Royal ambition to make this global competition a great success," emphasized Lekjaa.
