In line with its commitment to national solidarity and in response to the High Royal Instructions, the DGSN has established two mobile catering units in Tahanaout, within the province of Al Haouz. These units are specifically dedicated to bread production and are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
This initiative is designed to provide essential food supplies to the affected population swiftly and effectively. Abdelhak Afif, Divisional Commissioner and Head of the Prefectural Administrative Service at the Marrakech Police Headquarters said that "DGSN is actively engaged in various aspects of aid to the earthquake victims. In addition to mobilizing search and rescue teams, the organization has introduced two mobile catering units capable of producing approximately 10,000 units of bread per day, which can be adjusted based on the population's requirements and demand."
To ensure the success of this mission, the DGSN has also assembled specialized technical teams and enlisted the services of two veterinary doctors responsible for overseeing food quality control and ensuring health safety standards are met, Afif added.
