Al Haouz Earthquake: 5 Shepherds Trapped in Mountainous Region Rescued by Drone

Rabat - Five shepherds, who were trapped in a vast mountainous region spanning the provinces of Al Haouz, Taroudant, and Chichaoua, have been successfully located with the assistance of a drone, due to the diligent efforts of local authorities, the Royal Armed Forces, and the Royal Gendarmerie.

After an intensive 48-hour search and thorough exploration of the challenging and rugged terrain, the five stranded shepherds were pinpointed with the invaluable assistance of a drone, reports Morocco's 2M television channel during the midday news on Saturday.

The operation employed all available resources and cutting-edge technology, including military helicopters and advanced techniques. The intervention teams not only located the shepherds but also provided them with crucial assistance, medical care, and necessary medications.
