The Moroccan boxer beat Diyoka Benedicte from the Democratic Republic of Congo by 5 points to 0 in the semi-finals of the Africa Zone Boxing Qualification Tournament for the 2024 Olympics, being held at the Dakar Arena Sports Complex in Diamniadio, 30km from the Senegalese capital.
Yasmine Mouttaki joins her compatriot Widad Bertal (54kg), who earlier beat Haghighat-Joo Sara of Sierra Leone by 5 points to 0 to book her ticket for the Paris Olympics.
For her part, Khadija El Mardi (75 kg ), crowned world champion in India, secured her place in the final after beating Nigeria's Mbata Patricia Adanma Epelle by 4 points to 1.
Khadija El Mardi will face Kenyan Andiego Elizabeth Adhiambo in the final on Friday to also snatch her ticket for the 2024 Olympics.
