In this context, the Military Health Service Inspectorate is organizing a blood donation operation initiated by members of the Royal Armed Forces at the blood transfusion center at the Mohammed V Military Training Hospital in Rabat and the Avicenne Military Hospital in Marrakech.

This humanitarian initiative is part of the voluntary and spontaneous involvement of the Royal Armed Forces in the fight against the consequences of this natural disaster.

This operation, which has received strong support from members of the Royal Armed Forces, reflects the strong commitment and high sense of solidarity shown by all the FAR components to save the lives of the wounded and respond to the call of the nation in these exceptional circumstances.

On the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Armed Forces urgently deployed, on the night of September 9, 2023, following the earthquake that struck the Al Haouz region, significant human and logistical resources, both airborne and ground-based, as well as specialized intervention modules based on Search and Rescue teams and a Field Medical-Surgical Hospital.
