2023 AFCON Qualifiers: Morocco-Liberia Game Postponed Following Earthquake

Casablanca - The game scheduled to take place on Saturday evening between Morocco and Liberia, in the final round of qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (2023 AFCON) was postponed following the powerful earthquake that struck the central province of Al Haouz late on Friday, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) said on Saturday.

"Following the earthquake that struck several regions of the Kingdom, FRMF announces the postponement of the game scheduled to take place on Saturday evening between Morocco and Liberia, in the final round of qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (2023 AFCON), in coordination with the Confederation of African Football", the Moroccan football governing body said in a press release.
"The national football family expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured,” the same source added.
