According to the organizers, this major event, whose guest of honor is Poland, will take place in iconic venues across the city, including Bahia Palace, Cyber Park, Dar Cherifa, and the Musée des Arts de la Parure.
The festival aims to serve as a platform for the short film industry, providing support to emerging filmmakers and professionals, says the same source adding that the festival has initiated a "Low Budget Film" program designed to foster the growth of the Moroccan short film industry.
This program, sponsored by producer Lamia Chraibi, offers support to filmmakers. This includes financial, technical and mentoring support.
The jury for this year's event is chaired by Moroccan director and screenwriter Nour Eddine Lakhmari, accompanied by Moroccan producer and director Rachida Saadi and actress Nisrine Erradi.
This cinematographic event will see the participation of guests of honor, among others, the director of the Berlinale Shorts festival, Henckel-Donnersmarck, the Egyptian composer, Hicham Nazih, recognized for his remarkable score in "Moon Knight", the Polish director, Tadeusz Łysiak, winner of the "Discovering Eye" award and the Moroccan actor Said Bey.
This edition promises to be a week of cinematic discoveries, a celebration of cultural diversity through the art of short film, and enriching encounters between cinephiles, filmmakers and producers, concludes the organizers.
