The meeting, held at the residence of the Moroccan Ambassador on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, also brought together doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs as well as university professors and imams.
This ceremony, to which were invited more than 60 people including representatives of various sectors such as banking, information technology, construction and public works, renewable energy and offshoring, was an opportunity for a broad exchange and contact, in a friendly setting, with and between members of the Moroccan community established in Sweden.
Speaking on this occasion, Medrek highlighted the high concern of HM King Mohammed VI for Moroccans around the world, stressing that the objective of this meeting is to further facilitate contacts between members of the Moroccan community.
He highlighted the patriotic values of the members of the Moroccan community and their willingness to be "the best ambassadors" for their country.
The diplomat welcomed the contribution of expatriate Moroccans with competencies who constitute "the embodiment of the relationship we aspire to have with this country," adding that these operators can have a crucial role in contributing to the consolidation of bilateral relations, politically and diplomatically, in accordance with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
"We are therefore all called upon, each in his/her own particular area, to make our contribution to the strengthening of our relations", a role that does not only fall within the competence of the Embassy, but of all, insisted the Moroccan diplomat.
Medrek also emphasized that the services of the embassy remain open to the ideas and initiatives of all Moroccans living in Sweden.
