At the Palace of Italian Institutions, Tanjazz Festival will host artists and musicians of renown from several countries, including Morocco, says a statement from the organizers.
The public will have an appointment with the living legend of Angolan semba Bonga, known by his voice and sensual rock, and the gifted musician Mehdi Nassouli, who is the pride of his country on the international scene.
The festival's stage will feature some of the best names in contemporary jazz: Israeli bassist Avishai Cohen, who will perform in a trio to share his deep and elegant music, the soprano voice of South Korean singer Youn Sun Nah, and the trumpeter of Bahraini-British origin Yazz Ahmed and his psychedelic Arab jazz style.
This edition will also see the participation of the British self-taught pianist Alfa Mist, with his creative style combining melancholic jazz impros, soul and alternative hip-hop most refined.
