Morocco is North Africa's champion in terms of economic competitiveness and holds the second position as the most attractive country on the African continent for investors, noted Seddiki, who presented the "Morocco Now" brand of investment and export at a panel, held as part of the 14th U.S.-Africa Business Summit.
Thanks to advanced infrastructure, highly skilled human resources and a strategic position with access to potential markets around the world, the Kingdom offers a favorable business climate for companies, especially African ones, Seddiki told participants in the panel held under the theme "Morocco, a platform of opportunities and a hub for Africa."
Morocco is at the forefront of renewable energy, he added, noting that it is positioned as one of the industries with low carbon emissions and the most competitive in the world.
Regarding infrastructure, the official mentioned a range of examples such as the Moroccan industrial port complex of "Tangier Med", international airports, high-speed rail link, and the highway network (1,800 km) which connects the cities of Morocco and African road network
