This Council will have the mission to create synergies and channels of communication between Moroccan and Mozambican companies, promote the exchange of expertise and know-how and encourage investment and co-investment in sectors of common interest, which will be identified, said the CGEM in a statement.

It also aims to support businesses, including very small, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to succeed in their establishment and development internationally, added the same source.

The conclusion of this agreement, signed on the sidelines of the US-Africa Business Summit, is a new step in strengthening economic cooperation between the private sectors of Morocco and Mozambique, said the CGEM, noting that it also provides for the organization of forums to bring the two business communities closer together for a win-win sustainable partnership.
