In a statement, National Police (DGST) said that these artisanal equipment were seized in "Casa Barata" market in Tangier, as part of proactive efforts made by National Security services in order to neutralize all dangers and threats related to illegal immigration and human trafficking networks.
A judicial investigation is underway to identify the people involved in the possession of this equipment, in order to clarify the circumstances of their possession, to identify the individuals involved in their manufacture and to determine possible links of this case to illegal immigration and human trafficking networks, according to the statement.
