Arab Futsal Cup: Morocco Edges Mauritania (13-0), Qualifies for Quarterfinals

Dammam - The Moroccan national futsal team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the Arab Futsal Cup after its big victory, Wednesday in Dammam in Saudi Arabia, against its Mauritanian peer (13-0), as part of the third and last game of the group stages.

The first half of the match was won by the national team (6-0). This victory allowed Morocco to take the lead in its group, which also includes Kuwait and Somalia.

In the same group, Kuwait will face Somalia, and the result of this match will determine which team will accompany the Moroccan team to the next round.

Morocco is the defending champion of the Arab Cup, whose last edition was held in Egypt.
