At the opening ceremony of these two workshops, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa welcomed the participation of experts from Fifa who take part in this event whose objective is to develop grassroots soccer and to unearth the best talents.
Lekjaa stressed that the federal body has adopted an important strategy for the development of Moroccan soccer based on training.
He emphasized the role of regional centers established by the FRMF in order to raise the level of young players, stressing that the general perception of the federal body in terms of soccer development is part of a participatory working strategy with all stakeholders, including experts from Fifa.
For his part, the technical director of Fifa, Steven Martens stressed the importance of sports infrastructure available to Morocco, including the Mohammed VI Football Complex of Maamoura which meets international standards.
