The celebration of this anniversary comes a few days after the birth in the home of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid of a newborn child that His Majesty King Mohammed VI has named His Highness Prince Moulay Abdeslam.
Born on June 20, 1970 in Rabat, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid obtained, in May 1993, with honors, a degree in Public Law (Internal Administration option) and a diploma in Comparative Law from the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Rabat. Three years later, His Royal Highness obtained, in June 1996, with honors, the second certificate of higher education (International Relations option).
HRH Prince Moulay Rachid graduated with a PhD in Law on 18 May 2001 from Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV University on "The Organization of the Islamic Conference: Study of a specific international organization" with merit and the jury's congratulations as well as with a special distinction for its publication, given the importance of the subject and the quality of the work.
Since his youth, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid has been interested in cultural, social and sports activities. As such, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid chairs the National Federation of Moroccan Scouting since 1997, to which he has undoubtedly brought a new dynamic.
In the same spirit and with the same commitment, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid assumes the presidency of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Shooting with Hunting Weapons (FRMTAC), the Marrakech International Film Festival Foundation and the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association. Since January 2018, His Royal Highness has also served as President of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (FRMG).
Also, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid has been involved in various activities, taking part in different Royal activities and presiding over official activities, as well as large-scale events both in Morocco and abroad. HRH Prince Moulay Rachid also represents HM the King in important national and international events.
HRH Prince Moulay Rachid represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI on May 15 in Abu Dhabi at the presentation of condolences following the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
HRH Prince Moulay Rachid presented, during the audience granted to him by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates, the condolences of HM the King.
On May 7, 2021, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid received in Rabat Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State in charge of the Council of Ministers Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, who handed over to His Royal Highness a message from the Emir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
On January 13, 2020, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI in Muscat at the presentation of condolences following the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur.
The anniversary of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid is an opportunity for the Moroccan people to affirm their strong attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne and their permanent mobilization behind His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the success of the large-scale projects launched by the Sovereign in the service of His faithful people.
