The Moroccan team managed to take the first place in the ranking thanks to Malak El Allami, winner in singles, and the pair Malak El Allami and Hadab Sofia, winners in doubles.
Bennani Karim was a runner-up in singles, while Moumar Adam and Jamji Amine were runners-up in doubles.
The Africa U16 Tennis Championship has seen the participation of eight nations, namely Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Madagascar, Seychelles and Ghana.
The Moroccan team was coached by Mehdi Ait Berhouch and Hamid Abderrazak.
Morocco has been crowned African champion in all categories for the past five years.
