CAF Cup: RS Berkane Beats Orlando Pirates on Penalties to Win Second Title

Uyo - The Renaissance of Berkane (RSB) won its second title of the African Football Confederation (CAF) Cup, after beating the South African team of Orlando Pirates on penalties (5 to 4 / regulation time: 0-0, extra time: 1-1), in the final, held Friday in Uyo (Nigeria).

The Oranges opened the score thanks to Youssef El Fahli on penalty kick in the 97th minute, while Thembinkosi Lorch (117th) equalized for the South Africans.

The Berkani club was playing the 3rd final of its history of the CAF Cup, after a final lost in 2019 against Egypt's Zamalek and another won in 2020 at the expense of another Egyptian team, Pyramids FC.
