In its nomination letter, the NGO praised Lahlou's commitment "to share and spread this ideal for a more fraternal and humane humanity," assuring that these principles correspond to the values that this day wishes to convey.
"By allowing our NGO and this day to benefit from your image and your aura, you give us the opportunity to increase the impact of our actions and spread the message of Living Together and Peace," the letter read.
Thanks to Lahlou, "the edifice of peace will continue to be built and grow day by day," the same source added.
For his part, the designer expressed to MAP his pride in this appointment, expressing his thanks to the organization "for this honor and this confidence".
In this regard, he called on everyone to commit to a better world of peace, brotherhood and love.

Distinguished alongside Virgil Abloy and Sir David Adjaye in the Lyfestyle & Design category among the 100 most influential people of African descent in the world in 2021, he is recognized by the "MIPAD - Most Influential People of African Descent" in New York in October 2021 with the support of the United Nations.
The international designer has been appointed last April as "Special Envoy" for the MENA Region (North Africa and Middle East) and Africa of the President of the World Design Organization (WDO), David Kusuma.
