CAF Confed. Cup (1/2 Final 1st Leg): Renaissance Berkane Loses to TP Mazembe 0-1

Lubumbashi - The Renaissance sportive of Berkane (RSB) lost 0-1 to Tout Puissant Mazembe in the first-leg semi-final tie of the CAF Confederation Cup in Lubumbashi on Sunday.

Neither of the two teams managed to find a way to score, despite the many opportunities created especially in the second half.

John Bakata scored the winner in the 97th minute as the Congolese giants ensured they head into the return tie next weekend, with a slight advantage.

The second-leg tie between the two teams is scheduled for next Sunday at the Municipal Stadium of Berkane.

The Renaissance of Berkane had secured its ticket to the semifinals by beating Al Masry (1-0), while TP Mazembe defeated the Egyptian Pyramids (2-0).
