According to the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the Euromed University comes in 4th position after Kenitra's Ibn Tofail University, the International University of Rabat and Rabat's Mohammed V University, says a statement from the Euromed University.
It is followed by Hassan II University of Casablanca, Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University and Hassan I University of Settat.
THE World University Rankings is a global ranking, one of the most influential worldwide along with Shanghai's and QS, which is based on a multidimensional analysis of higher education institutions through the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Eight Moroccan universities were ranked this year in this international ranking, which involved institutions in 106 countries, according to the same source.
At the African level, notes the release, Egypt has 36 universities in this ranking, followed by Nigeria with 9 universities, Morocco and South Africa 8 universities each, Ghana 6 universities, Tunisia and Algeria 5 universities each. Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia have one university each in THE 2022 ranking.
