CAF Champions League quarterfinals: Wydad Casablanca Defeats Belouizdad (1-0)

Algiers - Wydad Casablanca defeated Algerian team CR Belouizdad 1-0, Saturday in Algiers, in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the African CAF Champions League.

WAC defeated hosts thanks to a goal early in the second half from Guy Mbenza (46).

Even more impressive from the Moroccan visitors was the fact that they played most of the match with 10 men following the early dismissal of Jalal Daoudi.

The second leg match will be played on April 23 in Casablanca.
