Morocco's Official Reserve Assets Up 8.5%

Rabat - Morocco's official reserve assets amounted to 332.7 billion dirhams on March 25, 2022, up by 8.5% compared to the same period in 2021, Morocco's central bank (Bank Al-Maghrib) has said.

During the week of March 24-30, 2022, Bank Al-Maghrib injected 79.1 billion dirhams.

As for the interbank rate, it has remained at 1.5%, the source added in a release.

In the same period, the Dirham appreciated by 0.48% against the U.S. Dollar and depreciated by 0.69% against the Euro.
