This level of exports exceeds those recorded during the same period between 2018 and 2021, said the Office in its recent note on monthly indicators of foreign trade.
For their part, exports of textiles and leather have increased by 26.1% in the first two months of the year 2022. This rise is attributable to the increase in sales of the main segments of this sector namely, clothing (+30.3%), hosiery (+18.3%) and shoes (+18.3%).
These exports reach, thus, their highest level during the same period in the last five years, said the same source.
