In a presentation to the Committee on Social Sectors in the House of Representatives (lower house), the Minister reported considerable progress in Awrach implementation, two months after its launch.
This program, for which the government has mobilized a financial envelope of 2.25 billion MAD for the year 2022 has already begun to produce results, said Sekkouri.
He emphasized that his department ensures that this program fulfills its missions in accordance with the criteria of efficiency, transparency and governance, noting that the main concern is "the proper management of the budget allocated to this program."
In this regard, the Minister recalled the agreement signed between the Ministry of Budget, the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) and the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC).
This agreement aimed to determine the expenditure of the budget of the program, in addition to the creation of a computer system at the level of the CNSS and ANAPEC to manage the operation of identification of beneficiaries and payment of their salaries, he explained.
In addition, tours have been conducted in all regions of the Kingdom, during which officials and executives of the Ministry have met with more than 2,500 stakeholders, elected officials and representatives of local authorities and a set of experts.
The Ministry has opted for a regional management of the program given the availability of structures necessary for its implementation, he said, adding that the regional committees responsible for selecting the workshops will be able to modify some criteria according to the needs of the province.
