Speaking at the opening of a day of information on the projected market programs of the Ministry and institutions under supervision, under the year 2022, Baraka stressed that these investments are spread over diverse sectors, including roads and highways, ports, water and public facilities.
In addition, these investment projects exceed those launched last year by nearly 20%, he said, highlighting the need to restructure the sector to make it more attractive.
According to Baraka, the Ministry plans to conduct reforms, including revising texts relating to public procurement, updating specifications and supporting SMEs operating in this area at local and regional levels.
This meeting is an opportunity to allow professionals in the building and public works sector to have a better visibility on the public order and to discover closely the projects of the sector for the year 2022.
This comes in the context of consolidating transparency, competitiveness and good governance, as it aims to enable companies and actors in the sector to better prepare to achieve the investment programs in the best conditions.
