36th Marathon des Sables (Women's Category): Anna Comet Wins Second Stage

Rich Mbirika (Errachidia province) - Spanish Anna Comet on Monday won the 2nd stage of the Marathon des Sables (MDS), which connected Aguenoun N'Oumerhiout to Rich Mbirika over a distance of 38.5 km.

Comet won the stage with a time of 4h 06min 17sec, followed by French Sylvaine Cussot (4h 18min 46sec), while Moroccan Aziza El Amrany came 3rd with a time of 4h 39min 38sec.

The 3rd stage will connect Rich Mbirika to El Mahrach over a distance of 32.1 km.
