"Rabat embodies the Moroccan diversity through its architectural genius, its know-how and its uniqueness," he said on the occasion of the celebration, at the Kasbah des Oudayas, of the 10th anniversary of the inscription of the city of Rabat on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Bensaid said that the capital of the Kingdom, being a cultural crossroads, and space for exchange and openness, offers the rediscovery of a rich historical and cultural centuries.
For her part, the president of the Communal Council of Rabat, Asmaa Aghlalou, noted that this 10th anniversary of the inscription of Rabat on the World Heritage List "crowns the commitment of the capital for the restoration and enhancement of its precious and rich heritage".
Since the inclusion of Rabat in 2012, many actions have been taken, including the establishment of structures involving effective partnerships and the mobilization of significant financial resources and material and technical means, Aghlalou stressed, adding, in this regard, that the framework agreement, signed in 2014 has focused on seven aspects, thus the city into a real urban gallery.
