"HM King Mohammed VI attaches great importance to the youth. The theme of this event is in line with the national priorities and is therefore placed at the heart of the Kingdom's public policies," the official told the press on the sidelines of a commemorative ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans abroad.
The ceremony honors renowned chefs of Moroccan gastronomy who, through their work and perseverance, can be a source of inspiration to young people in Morocco and the entire Francophone space, she added.
El Hnot, who also serves as the personal representative of the head of government to the Francophonie, added that this celebration brings together today several personalities of the diplomatic world including the group of french-speaking ambassadors and delegates, created in Morocco two years ago.
She also emphasized the place of Morocco within the International Organization of La Francophonie (IOF), a structure where the Kingdom works to promote the values of cultural diversity, language, peace and sharing.
For his part, the Ambassador of Benin in Rabat and chairman of the group of french-speaking ambassadors and delegates, Serge Dagnon, noted that the group unites ambassadors under the theme of cultural diversity with French as the highlight.
In the same vein, the regional director of the Francophone University Agency, Danielle Pailler highlighted the actions undertaken by the agency in favor of the youth.
The Francophonie is an institution, dedicated since 1970 to promoting the French language and political, educational, economic and cultural cooperation among the 88 member countries of the IOF.
