Speaking at the opening of the sixth edition of "Aerospace Meetings Casablanca", Mr. Mezzour reported "a full order book at the sector level and an overrun of the objectives set in terms of job creation."
He highlighted the relevance of the choice of the Moroccan aeronautical platform which continues to consolidate its position at the international level.
The inauguration of a new factory by the AD Industries Group and the extension project launched by Hexcel Corporation, demonstrate the rise in skills of the sector which manufactures more composite materials, one of the key elements in the decarbonization of the sector.
In addition, the minister announced a change of direction in terms of human capital, aiming to prepare 100,000 "white collar" workers for the next four years, for the aeronautics and automotive sectors.
After a first phase marked by the training of "blue collar workers" who made the success of the Moroccan industrial platform, the focus is now placed on the creation of quality jobs, given the level of competence of young Moroccans and their career aspirations, he said.
In addition, Mr. Mezzour stressed that contracts will be signed "in the next three to four weeks to have gas at a maximum European price".
The reduction in energy costs following these developments should help manufacturers gain in competitiveness according to their respective sectors of activity., the minister noted.
