Berkane - Renaissance Berkane on Sunday beat Niger's Gendarmerie Nationale (5-3) at Berkane's municipal stadium in Matchday 1 of Group D of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Mouad Fekkak bagged a brace, while Charki El Bahri, Chadrack Lukombe and Larbi Naji scored the other goals of the Moroccan team.

Victorien Adebayor and Hassan Seidou Boubacar scored for the visiting team.
