This rise is due to an increase in revenue of 17% (to 32.19 billion dirhams), more important than that of expenditure (+11.5% to 12.02 billion dirhams), said the Office, which has published its monthly indicators of foreign trade in December 2021.
Under the year 2021, Moroccan direct investment abroad (IDME) stood at 17, 95 billion dirhams, the highest level achieved under the last five years, showing an increase of 10.17 billion dirhams compared to 2020.
The disposal of these investments amounted to 13.59 billion dirhams, up 10.49 billion dirhams. Thus, the net flow of IDMEs fell by 6.8%.
