In response to a central question on "the national cultural influence and support for cultural economies" during the monthly session of oral questions addressed to the head of government in the House of Representatives, Akhannouch said that under the strategy, it will be proceeded in the coming days to the operationalization of several realistic measures to ensure the cultural rights of all citizens and to strengthen the effective participation of youth, children, women, the elderly and people with disabilities in cultural practice.
Among these measures, he said, is the creation of a label "Tamayouz" (excellence) for the various components of the national cultural heritage, in addition to a similar label, entitled "Museum of Morocco" and granted by the National Foundation of Museums (FNM) to the owners of private museums in accordance with a specification, adding that obtaining this label will allow to benefit from financial aid allocated by the State, local authorities and public institutions, as well as scientific and technical support from the FNM, in addition to the possibility of including the labeled museum in the tours scheduled for tourists.
Through this label, museums can be proposed for inclusion in the national or international cultural heritage, in addition to the possibility of benefiting from a motivating tax regime, he added.
These measures, added the head of government, also relate to the strengthening of cultural infrastructure, reducing spatial disparities by covering the national territory in support of local institutions, diversification of cultural offerings and development of cultural economies in the fields of creation, arts and heritage, in coordination with national and international partners.
The actions also include, inter alia, the encouragement of the new professions which allow the employment of young people in all the cultural sectors, in collaboration with the various stakeholders, through the support of the cultural industries in the fields of the theater, the book, the edition, the music, the choreographic arts, the plastic and visual arts, cultural associations and festivals, in addition to launching initiatives to create jobs for young people, by concluding partnerships between cultural and youth centers under the Ministry and young people with cultural projects through the programs "Awrach" and "Forsa".
